A rheumatologist who cares for people with Sjögren’s, and helps develop new cell therapies for autoimmune disease.
a brief introduction
two worlds, one focus
I’m a board-certified rheumatologist working in autoimmune disease from two sides: caring for the people who live with Sjögren’s, and helping develop the next generation of cell therapies for autoimmune disease.
I trained at Harvard College and Harvard Medical School, completed my rheumatology fellowship at Johns Hopkins, and held a faculty appointment at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. I serve on the Sjögren’s Foundation Consensus Expert Panel, which works to define how the disease is diagnosed and measured.
Alongside my practice, I lead early clinical development of cell therapies for autoimmune disease. That work keeps me close to where treatment is heading, and it shapes how I think about each patient: rigorously, longitudinally, and with an eye on what’s coming next.
This practice is where those two worlds meet, dedicated to the people living with Sjögren’s.
